A See of Red

After a week of writer's block I decided to come here and post something, at first I wasn't sure what I would write but then it hit me I wanted, no I needed to share about an upcoming event in the Big City.

This upcoming Sunday a bunch of churches, including mine, will be taking part in an Inner City clean up to kick off a two week long Love "the Big City" event. All people taking part will be wearing red t-shirts that show our Love for the Big City, hence the See of Red. I cannot even begin to tell you all how excited I am about this. We get to help people, evangelise and clean up the core area of our Big City! You wouldn't believe how excited I am to put on my work gloves, grab my garbage bags and get to work!!! We wanted to bring our kids but decided not to because well, let's face it there's going to be some unslightly things we'll have to pick up and I don't want to put my children at risk.

So Sunday night I'll have pictures posted and a write up of the kick off days events.
